Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum 2026

The inaugural Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum comes to Tashkent on 24-26 August 2026, co-hosted by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), the international non-profit established with the support of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The three-day agenda concentrates on open banking, digital assets and stablecoins, cross-border payments, Islamic finance, and innovation and investment. Expected attendees include central bank governors, government officials, development institutions, investment funds, technology firms and financial organisations from Central Asia, the Gulf, Europe and Asia. The forum is positioned around Uzbekistan's target of attracting $1 billion in fintech investment, training 5,000+ specialists and licensing 200+ market participants.
